Bio-essence Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask Review

This Bio-essence Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask sample was sent to me by the Sample Store.

Unfortunately, when I opened the packet to use the product, I realised that the amount they gave was really little. I had about a 20 cent coin worth of product. Really disappointed.

The instructions mentioned that water droplets will form, but I could not tell if there were any when I was using the product.

The mask went on easily and was gel-like.
One thing I like about this is that it left no oily or sticky residue!

There was no big difference when I woke up the next day. My skin felt oily as usual. (after sleeping)

McCafe's Brownie Review

Most people will think that food from McDonald's or McCafe is just average. Well, I tried their brownie, it is absolutely DELICIOUS!

As a chocolate lover, it is hard for me to find good chocolate related items that I love. (chocolate cakes, for birthdays, are the hardest!)

Definitely recommend this brownie to anyone who loves chocolate! It is super rich, gooey and the best part? It only cost around $4 SGD! SO WORTH IT!

When you order it at McCafe, the guy at the counter will heat it up for you first. So happened that I also ordered an Oreo Mcflurry, ended up putting the icecream on the brownie and eating it together! (everyone knows brownies and icecream goes perfectly together right?)

Of course, every branch may not have the exact same standard of food items. The branch I went to was at Metropolis. (Singapore, 138588)

Marina Bay Sands- Premier Room Tour

Hey guys! My friend's grandparent's friends had a free hotel stay and decided to let me and my friend have it! It was for Marina Bay Sand's Premier Room.

Here is the room tour! It is a little shaky and overexposed (at some points) as I was rushing to finish it asap. (there were other people in the room waiting for me)

The room was really lovely! My favourite part of the room, besides the view, is the HUGE bathtub! I don't have a tub at home, so it was nice to relax in the bath on the first night.

The only problem I have with the room, is that the shower knob was hard to turn when I was showering. (Hands were wet, no friction)

Check out other photos and videos I took, below:

Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash Review

Sample Store was kind enough to send me this product to review even though I hadn't been on that site for a few months. It was a really nice surprise to receive in the mail!

The packaging was really lovely and the actual product was wrapped in bubble wrap.

Once I saw that this product was made in China, I was hesitant to try it out.

When I squeezed a bit onto my hand, the first thing I noticed was the strong perfume like smell. It was too overpowering for my liking. The scent lingers for quite a while after I washed the soap off.

However, it definitely left my skin a little smoother.

Since I haven't used this product on a regular basis, I can't say if it really helps in the long run. I would consider trying this if the smell was not as strong and it was not made in China. I currently use DOVE conditioner for my hair which is made in Thailand. Although it is not the best conditioner out there, it is definitely affordable.

Park Hotel Alexandra, Deluxe Room Tour

For Mother's Day, my mom booked the Deluxe room in Park Hotel Alexandra for her and my grandma to stay in.

Although I didn't get to sleep in the room, I got to enjoy several hotel facilities! The pool was not super big, but it was an infinity pool, next to the pool bar. During the day, it was quite empty so we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. The pool also had a jacuzzi area on the other side. (surrounding the gym) However, the jacuzzi did not have any water jets. (if it did, we didn't see any switch to turn it on)

The gym was quite spacious and had a variety of equipments. The only downside is that the audio was not working for some of the treadmill's tv. For mine, I had to leave my earphones half plugged in, if not, the volume would keep jumping back to 20. Which was really loud. The gym also had towels and bottles of water for us to use!

For the deluxe room, there was not much leg space but we did have about 10 people over after dinner. The bathroom had no bathtub and the drainage system of the shower was not good. When I was showering, the shower area started to overflow into the main bathroom floor. The view from the room window however, was gorgeous! I would have loved to do a timelapse video of that! (if I were staying overnight)

Check out the video I did below for the room/gym/pool tour!

Sixty40 Review

{Sixty40 is a bar/cafe located at Rochester Mall, Singapore}

My family decided to try the food here after my mom saw this deal : http://www.groupon.sg/deals/singapore/sixty40-bar-cafe/721299471 . As of today (9 May 2016), this deal is still ongoing, click on the link if you are interested in getting it.
We got the "6 food items for up to 4 people, $39.80. (Original price would be $90)

(These photos were taken with my Asus Zenfone 2, that is why the quality is not that good)

Sixty40's website: http://www.sixty40.com.sg/

1st plate

We decided to sit outside since it was a cooling day. They do have speakers playing outside, unfortunately the speakers kept going quiet every few minutes. Music would start, then stop (not paused) after a while, then start again and the cycle would repeat. There were probably 4 breaks in just one 3 minute long song.

For our food, we decided to get crispy (classic) fries, crunchy wings, Spanish garlic prawns, BBQ pork ribs and 2 beef tataki. The German wurst and grilled squid were both out of stock when we went.

We waited for at least 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The food came in two parts, the first one had the fries, wings and ribs. The second, which came after we finished the first plate, had the prawns and beef. We all expected the food to arrive at the same time.

Fries and wings

The portions were quite small. The only food I would consider ordering again is the wings. It was really light, crispy and fluffy. The fries were not worth it at all. I feel that fries from Mcdonald's are more tasty and definitely much cheaper. Ribs were average.

Ribs

2nd plate

For the second plate, the prawns came in a bowl of hot oil.

The beef was not consistent. One portion was well done while the other was medium rare. Would not recommend either.
Prawns

Overall, I would not eat here again unless there is a better deal for the amount of food we are getting.

Thank you to Harper's Bazaar for hosting this giveaway! (Giveaway was for a pair of tickets to this art fair!)

The video is quite shaky as I was more focused on looking at the art.... (instead of looking at the camera screen) Sorry about that!!

The Coffee Hub @ Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild (SPGG)

Recently I went to eat at SPGG's "The Coffee Hub" with my family.
Their website: http://www.spgg.org.sg/dining/the-coffee-hub
Here is the menu:

I decided to get the "Spaghetti Chicken Bolognaise" and  "Chilli Dog" to share with my sister.

Spaghetti

For the spaghetti, the chicken is only in the sauce. The taste is average. I would honestly prefer the $4+ spaghetti from Holland Village Market's western stall (the one next to the chin chow/soya bean stall).

I had high hopes for this Chilli Dog as it looked super delicious on the poster at the entrance.
You can check out the poster at this link: http://www.spgg.org.sg/dining/fnb-promotions/item/399-best-hot-dogs-in-town

When we received it, I realised that the toppings are basically spaghetti sauce with cheese on top. The bread was not whole, so the whole hotdog fell apart when I tried to cut it in half. The chips on the bottom were most likely "Jack n Jill" chips.
Chilli Dog

Definitely do NOT recommend this to anyone.

This was the "Iced Tea" that came with the spaghetti. Hot tea with ice, a bit too sweet for my liking.

Overall, I would not order these particular items again.
